Laboratory appointments
You can book a laboratory appointment if you have received a laboratory referral from a doctor or nurse. The laboratory referral must be available before you contact the laboratory.
Digital services
When you have a laboratory referral, please book an appointment by using digital services, if possible:
Online booking (citizen’s online health services/book an appointment)
You can log in to the appointment booking service with your bank ID, mobile certificate or certificate card.
Once logged in, you can book and reschedule appointments at the laboratory units of the health and social services centres of the Wellbeing Services County of South Ostrobothnia and the sample collection unit located in the Y building of Seinäjoki Central Hospital.
An appointment is not required if no blood tests will be taken and you are only coming in to drop off a urine sample, for example.

The appointment booking service is open Mon-Fri from 9:00 to 14:00.
