Chat service, issues related to mental health and addiction
Psychiatric nurses can provide help with mental health challenges, addiction, and sudden life crisis. If needed, a remote appointment can be booked, or you can be directed to other suitable services.
This service is targeted at residents of the Wellbeing Services County of South Ostrobothnia who are over 18 years old.
The service is open Mon-Thu from 8:00 to 15:30, Fri from 8:00 to 15:00
Children and adolescents: Chat service, Family centre guidance and counselling
The customer assistants of the family centre provide guidance and counselling in matters relating to children, adolescents, families, and parenthood. The customer assistants can help you find solutions to your problem or direct you to the services you need.
The service is open Mon-Fri from 9:00 to 15:00.

Customer guidance provided by the family centre allows you to discuss your situation with a professional. You will receive guidance and counselling regarding your problem, or instructions on how to access the services you need.
You can contact customer guidance if you have concerns about your personal situation or someone else’s. These might include, for example:
- Raising children or adolescents
- Behavioural challenges
- Conflicts in the family
- Mood changes
- Fatigue or coping
- Problems with school
- Alcohol and substance abuse
- Excessive gaming
- Domestic violence and intimate partner violence
